This series developed while contemplating religion’s role in daily life. Writing on the Wall takes form in various locations I often pass while thinking and praying as I walk. Is it God answering or a coincidence when I ask for a sign and suddenly notice ten yellow flowers in a row that are not usually there? Here, spray painted signs and stickers play with the idea of controlling providence. With this work, I act as God. I am used by Him. I am a vandalizing hoodlum.
